Nice looking T18 on Barnstormers that was damaged by hitting a runway light.
Contacted the Broker and he sent me pictures of damage and repair.
JB Weld on propeller blade!!!
That killed it for me, what was somebody thinking and what have they done to the
Rest of the airplane with that thought process?

that's a shame. It does look pretty nice on Barnstormers. Dean Cuke's T18 looks awesome on there (listed as sale pending).

Nothing wrong with JB Weld ! I use it to repair loose crowns , don't try it on your teeth you may weld your mouth shut ! ::) The polished T-18 on BS is John Kerr's . Cowboy Bob the airplane broker bought it for $24,000 and is now selling it for $30,000 ! ??? He did put a new prop on it , at least it looks new in the pic . ::)

I shouldn't be so tough on the seller. although that plane had a hard knock, I looks like a well built bird with a lot of fine (although older) avionics and accessories.
Plus it has the 'above the baggage compartment auxiliary fuel tank' we were discussing in the Aux Fuel thread.
The seller clearly leaves it to the perspective buyer to fix or upgrade.
Other than that, I'm with RB; If you use JB weld to fix a filling in your teeth, don't bite down until it's set up! :P

He is the same gent that bought John Kerr's AC . He is an aircraft broker . I met him when he picked up the AC in San Diego and flew it to OKC .
