My boys got me a GoPro camera last Fathers Day. I put together this short video of us enjoying our Thorp. The video was taken from several flights last summer, and my son picked the music. They have both been flying since they were a few months old but you can really tell they love the Thorp! Our old Cessna 170 isn't nearly as much fun! If you've got 4 minutes to spare, have a look. It won't be long before they are asking me for the keys!

I love it. Great way to show off the Pacific Northwest with the Arlington 2014 Grand Champion plans built aircraft. My wife and I flew over that same area on Thursday on our way to view the tulip fields near Mt Vernon, WA.

Thanks for the kind words guys! It really is great to be able to share my love for flying with my family. I'm very blessed indeed! I sold my Christen Eagle when my wife and I started our family and purchased our Cessna 170 so we'd all have a place to sit. They boys have always enjoyed flying, and love to go "Airplane Camping" and traveling in our Cessna. Saying that, they never asked to go flying after school until we got the Thorp! It's really nice to have an airplane that's so much fun to fly again. The last few months the boys have been helping me with the new panel for the Thorp and have shown a lot more interest in the Biplane I've been building for the last few years!

Bruce, I can't take any credit for our Airplane. Jeff and Dave Blanton did a great job building her.

Terry, I'm not sure about a competition, but I'd love to see more photos and videos of other T-18's.
