The owner of 33TB is thinking of putting vortex generators on, there are some on EBay now, has anyone had any experience, luck, good or bad with them? I'm thinking with all the raves and claims that are in print about them that every plane in the world would have them, since they don't what's the scoop on them in the real world? Any comments???

Thanks Lance

Why? In my mind, vortex generators are to correct for design flaws. If you want to fly slow, buy a Cub. All STC'd VG kits come with a warning about how many can be missing before you must ground the plane. Makes the plane hard to wash. Install stall strips, if you are concerned about stall warning or buffet. VGs will not lower your landing speed as the plane already lands tailwheel first if you try to stall land it.

Thanks guys, I knew if they were that good there would b a lot more out there, I stalled the plane and it was straight froward just like mine I'll pass along the info to Butch and let him decide, don't need them on mine like Bob says the plane is harder to clean with them on. Nice job on the new machine Lee.
