Been on the ramp at Sky Harbor when it was 120 degrees... :P Windshield overheat lite on . Maint. pouring ice water on the windscreen to get the lite out . ;) I will look at the yearly temp average for Sedona and pick a "mild time" of year , minus the T-storms , tourists , pan handlers , out of work airline pilots and people looking for cheap health care ! ???

Sorry I thought the higher altitude would offset the lower lattitude. It looks like average high temps in June of 90 to 95. Lows 60 though, maybe we could do all of our flying at night??? ;)

You need to get your flying before 10 AM as the winds pickup The last time I was at Sedona they had a chain bolted to a telephone pole for a wind sock

Copy June temps down south - the OSH formation aces (and I) practiced chez Ginn at Montezuma Airpark just south of Sedona in early June - winds be damned - it was effing hot - 10:30 was beer 30.
First of May sounds perdy shweet.

I'll look at the forecast trends for the past year , but as we approach June the High pressure systems start to build in the SW creating the high winds and temps . ;) Just in case I have some anchor chain from the USS Ronald Regan to use for tie downs ! ???
