It was a great day for aviating in the Pacific NW (Puget Sound region) today.

Off the left wing, the Olympic mountains
731

Straight ahead the Cascades
732

Off the right, Mt Rainier
733

Yep, it was a very good day.

I'm in just give Lou or I a call and we will meet you for a T-18 sortie. My number is (714) 306-6898. Went out in the N6CM for a quick flight last Sunday. Shes approaching 1000 hours and running great with the mouse motor. What a beautiful flying bird! Thank you Mr. Thorp!

Well...when the WX is bad go to Mc Cormicks and Schmick's happy hour . Best deal in town . Can't remember what street it is on, but it was close to the Crown Plaza downtown Seattle where we would layover with USAir. (they have other locations in other cities also). Happy hour 1/2 pound burger (all the toppings) with fries $2.95 . You have to eat at the bar and buy a beverage . 1530-1830 and 2100 to close . They also have other great items on the "Happy Hour" menu (cheap) . An Airline pilots dream...cheap food and a drink ! BOOM ! O0 Fraser would pitch a tent outside of this place ! :-*

Been there, not for happy hour, if I did that too many time my aircraft would definitly be over gross in no time. :)
Rich, now I understand why it took you 27 years to finish your bird.

Note, almost out of the juinor bird man classification.

Eating at Mc Cormicks was a treat and we were only allowed to do so if Crew Scheduling said we had been good ! When you live on the West coast and commute to the East coast to fly/work it can really eat (no pun intended) into your building time...especially if you are on Reserve with the Airline ! BOOM !

Hey Tanker Ted,
I am flying, but direct to Tampa. You will have to put up with someone else finding turbulence !
BTW, had a 205mph jet stream in the face this week. Maybe Al Gore is on to something, not!
