Nice, maybe I need to get a new tail wheel setup, my other Thorp had the API tail wheel I believe? |

Attachment: Attachment: Took my "original" Bogert tow bar and made this copy (red part) for my golf cart tug . Nothing more than some square tubing , a few nuts and bolts and so far has worked OK . Remove the "T" handle from the Bogert . Measure for the stop bolt to keep the bar from going further into the "tube." measure the end of the tube on the Bogert where the "T" handle goes and drill for the pip pin to keep the Bogert from pulling out . Attach to the tow hitch and away you go ! Need to use the Bogert as a "regular tow bar ? Just pull the pip pin out , remove the Bogert from the steel square tube and insert the "T" handle . The cost to make the counterffeit Bogert bout $1-15 dollars . The tug tow bar unit section about an additional $10.00 ?RB |

I like it Rich. I have considered doing something similar to move planes around. What I really need is one to fit the Maule tailwheel on my L4 so I can tow it to the tiedowns before starting. I haven’t read many things about the scoop type tow bars that make me think they are secure enough to use with a tug. |

I like that one Tony. No need to pick up the tail. I may have to fab one up. Cubes |

Cubes, the bend in the thin handle is so it will fit into the luggage locker! Wouldn't fit when straight. Cheap as chips and easy to make. Cheers Tony ZK-VMS |

I modified this jack from harbor freight. I have a maule tailwheel. I only roll on hard surfaces though. |
