Guys,

I noticed on the previous thread it was digressing to discussion about fairings so i started a new one.

I bought a tail wheel fairing from Tom Worth a while back and it really looks nice. The issue I have is that the ball is not centered at cruise with this fairing in place. It is just over 1/2 a ball out. I take the fairing off and the ball is perfectly centered. The speeds are virtually the same with or without the fairing. I have the Trusty spring, Aviation Products tail fork and Matco 6" wheel. Anyone else see this?

Regards,

Jim

I have one of those tail wheel fairings. I didnt notice any speed increase. My fairing has no ill effect on the ball being centered though.
