We ended up with 15 Thorps on the ramp at Sedona. Great weather. Today's fly out went to the meteor crater and Winslow Az.
Some more pics to follow. Just a couple of guys standing on a corner....

Darc and Fase down and safe in Utah. 356 Nautical Miles travelled 2.2 Hours and 15 gallons later - through the Dragon Corridor over the Grand Canyon - with a photo turn over Bryce Canyon - up to 189 Knots GS over southern Utah. Once again, Rich Brazell and Wife Sil org'd a great event and Howard and Elaine Ginn rolled out the 5 Star hospitality from the Pineapple Express for the 15 Thorps that attended.

The video of Ira Zermano taking Hula dance lessons from Elaine Ginn should be ...???.....delicious... Wine was a contributing factor.....

Les & Linda home again jiggity jig. Bumpy ride and gusty landing here in NM, but gosh this has been the greatest fun. The pineapple express and the surroundings and camaraderie couldn't be better. Certainly a time I'll remember. Thanks Rich and Sil and Howard and Elaine and all who came. Like Cubes says, 'better than Oshkosh'!

More thanks to RB and Frau for the organizing, and to Elaine and Howard for the support. Nice to see so many nice T-18s (mine excluded) on the ramp. Truly some artists out there. Somehow I managed to have one more seat filled on the way back home than I had flying down. Great company with Mrs Cubes on the way back as Cubes' visit with Ray and Connie over at Camp Verde yielded a trove of new tools and other stuff; so he kicked his wife out:)

I give up ! Trying to post a you tube video , but it will not load ? Go to Goggle and type in the https and it will take you there . Basically a video of the new camera on it's first outing . For those that have not been to Sedona it may give you an idea of the incredible scenery you are missing in the area . ;)

After an "epic" cross country trip of 22 days and 57 hours on the tach, which included Sun-n-Fun, the Bahamas, a stay with Diane's sister in Oklahoma and Sedona, 18JF is back in her nest and of course the last 100 miles were the hardest. Spent last night in Hood River, OR because we couldn't get to the west side of the cascade mountains. Had to wait out bad weather today till after noon and then it took two tries on different routes. Managed to touch down on the home drome at 6:30 PM PDT, which gave us enough time to unload the plane, grab some fast food and attend this months EAA chapter meeting at the airport. Glad to be home and our kitty kittys are happy too. More on our trip to follow, now for a tall cold adult beverage.

Thanks to Rich, Sil, Howie and Elaine for a fun weekend in Sedona, which included standing on the corner in Winslow, AZ.
