Here is the latest for the folks going to Sedona. I just spoke with Amada the Sedona airport manager and we are all set for next month . Attached is a map where we will park . No tie down fees if we buy fuel . We should also get a fuel discount off the truck as there is no SS fuel at Sedona . Howard and Elaine are bring the "Pineapple Express" RV again this year to use as a Command Post and it will be parked next to the flight line . Thank you Howie and Elaine ! I will be arriving about 1000 (L) on Friday to Ram Rod the operations . I am still working on some sort of flight activity Friday/Saturday depending on the winds . I recommend arriving early AM as the winds typically pick up during the rest of the day . I have reserved room in the terminal (Saturday afternoon) to give a brief on my most recent involvement with FAA paperwork and the sale of John Kerr's AC . If you have not been to Sedona before and are staying at the Sky Ranch Lodge , everything is within walking distance , including the Mesa Grill should anyone feel the need for morning chow . Speaking of chow Sil is setting up evening chow at the two places we ate at last year.

There should be amble time to travel to town to buy those must have dust collectors you have always wanted for the house , including a bottle of Sedona VORTEX happy juice ! We will have a 9 pax van as well as a few POV's for transport . The Lodge also has a Van , but check with them for specific times it is available . There is also a rental car facility at the airport should you require it . I will have a printed POD so everyone is dancing off the same sheet of music ! If you have any questions let me know ! All events subject to change at the whim of the management .

Hey Lou!! Ira and Missy and Dan and Gloria Have reservations at the Motel at the Airport. We plan on buggin outa Visalia early Friday morning, stoppin in at Havasu and toppin the tanks and then right on to Sedona. Gloria and I have not been able to make the last 2 events so to say we are exited is an understatement. I have been watching the long range forcast for the past month and all is looking good. How about the crew in Corona, sing out guys you going to be able to make it? Havent heard from Paul or Gary up in the North either. It looks like we will have a good crowd! Gloria is already putting stuff together for the baggage compartment, yes we are excited!!!! All Fly Safe, we be seeing you there.................Dan

Easy there ! Control that excitement or you won't have enough dry skivvies to make it to Sedona ! :o Right now I tentatively count 20 lukewarm bodies and 10 AC . I am sure these numbers will go up as we get closer to launch time . :P

It fits the description, amateur-built experimental. Kinda like the pilot. If the wind's not bad we'll see if we can land it too! Should be fun to see y'all.

Oddball and She Who Eye Wership confirmed arriving hump day for two days of vortex hiking, humming wind calming mantras and some amateur local food sampling and sousing. We'll rent a wreck for the weekend as well Rich. Cubes - plan Friday AM post breky sortie casa R&C?

Gary,
I left a VM a while ago about checking out these spar caps. Do you want me to bring them back to KVGT for inspection? They are at my house for packing at the moment.
