Hi,

Does anyone know where I can buy some of the Canopy Seal (1439)? Part of mine is starting to come loose and I thought I might just buy a new seal to replace it. I looked at Aircraft Spruce and Wicks and didn't see anything that matched.

Last I heard CSA had plenty of P-Seal material.

I spent weeks trying to find the plans built canopy seal . It must have been a surplus seal from the Burbank aircraft days that JT found ? I did find a local rubber manuf. that came close to the seal . I used a version of it along with a D seal (from Spruce) on the windshield frame and I have a very good seal ! No leaks . I use to have a pic of the canopy seal ? Take the plans info on the seal to a local rubber manuf. and they can probably dup the seal ? It will probably require a minimum length of the stuff and maybe a set up charge .

Thanks for the info Lee and Rich. If CSA doesn't have any, I'll try a local shop.
