My wife and I are launching for OSH this morning, loading up the tent trailer and SUV, the airplane needs about a weeks more work to finish painting and reassembly. We are going to do some site seeing along the way and plan on arriving at the big show on Wed. See you all there.

Walton and N51863 made it back as well, what a beautiful day to fly! A few squal lines to traverse but that's what makes it interesting!

Thanks to everyone that came in for the 50th, those that missed truly missed a landmark year and event. In my opinion the changes made by EAA, both on their own initiative and as a result of other circumstances greatly improved the feel of the week. Maybe it was the 30+ thorps on the line or perhaps the attention the birds got, but either way it felt, like the good old days up there this year.

I will be giving a full report shortly with pics but for now once again, thanks everyone for attending and making the Thorp's presence be known this year!

Home and reflecting on the events of the week. It was great, no other way to put it.
Thank you Lee and Bill for setting things up and thanks to all who attended, Jane and I are very fortunate to be a part of this group.

Got in last night - Thunderstorm ended 10 minutes before arrival, rainbow pointed to airport. A couple of circles to wait & picture perfect end to a great time!

N71SH and N30WW in West Chicago for a couple of days. Oshkosh was great and really reminded me of the old days. We had great parking and many wanna be's stopped by to become more informed on the Thorp.
