Found a T-18 cowling mould in north Texas today. Top and bottom are close fitting like the original design with exposed cyls. But this also has cheek cowls that resemble the MC-6 in Spruce catalogue. Four pieces in total. Anyone remember who would have produced these parts in the 70s or 80s? I am estimating time frame based on the look of the parts. Chuck

There are several cowling molds floating around. Dick Cavin made a couple of sets, Gary Green owns a set that are now in the possision of Don Doubleday in the Ft. Worth area. I suspect you being in N. Texas you probably found another set of D.C.'s molds.

I was told the molds came from Springtown TX airport. I now have possession of the set and working on producing my first cowling. Chuck

My molds are still in the hands of Don Doubleday. I haven't seen Don since the Ky Dam fly-in last October.

Hi.
All my fiberglass parts for my T-18 come from this compagny. Cowling, wing tips, wheel pans, stab tips...
No web site in the card just phone(pager :o ) long time ago before 1996 I think. The job is excellent but I have to sand and made some repair. I surf on the net but i found nothing. My sheet metal work is better than my computer abillity :'(
