Hi! Anyone have an idea how best to waterproof the electrical connections that are in the tail for my electric
elevator trim? I am concerned that if I should get caught in the rain that they may short out.

I have had good results with Deutsche DT connectors. They are used on many outboard motors & boat and are easy to install. Available from usual suspects =Digikey, Mouser, Amazon...

I would agree the Deutsche connectors are the way to go for that.
