Here you go!! For the die-hart builder who wants to do it the original way. I have a complete set of handmade form blocks used to build a S-18. Used once to make all of the parts for a quality built S-18 (my S-18 project). Have to clean out shop so I can get to the final steps of completing my S-18.
Make an offer ( no wood burners). You come get the form blocks.

Really would like to see these form blocks go to a good builder. The blocks were used one time to create a full set of parts for an S-18. All the builder would need to do is pick them up or work with me to have the stuff shipped out to his location.

I kept all my form blocks in case we damaged our planes, glad I did as they came in handy when rebuilding N818LM

I lent most of mine (some of them I made out of tooling Masonite) to a guy who lived in the foothills West of Boulder, CO... he was retired Navy (for the benefit of Rich) and he was all hot about starting to build a T-18. I forgot all about it, and didn't hear from him for about 2 years. I finally went up there to see how it was going. He had absolutely nothing that resembled a T-18 part anywhere in sight. I said maybe I should get my form blocks back. His reply - "Oh, I didn't know you wanted them back." He said he had given them to some other potential builder and "couldn't get a hold of him anymore". The only thing he still had was the form block I made for the firewall - he was using it to support his hot water heater in his dirt-floor basement. It was warped like a potato chip. I left in a pretty bad mood, and that was the last time I saw him... heard he had passed away quite a few years ago.

Yes, but he's a talented teddy bear, and he makes me laugh. Rich... I'd hire you to take care of the guy, but I'm not sure if he went up, or down. ::)
