Ed, I do not have any personal knowledge of the airplane but my recommendation would be to consider it on need of a good deal of work. The airplane was donated to the organization a year ago that seems like a red flag to me. Also it's an 0-290 powered airplane, and even though I do not personally agree with this but the market for mouse motored Thorps is just plain bad right now. With that in mind and considering the "as is" nature of the auction, my personal cap would be around 10-12K for this airplane. |
