After I had an arcing issue to the rudder cable from a tunnel mounted switch, I vowed no electrical wires in the tunnel. It almost fried the cable in half on the base to final turn. Make sure everything is secure in there as the cables can move around in turbulence.

Good safety tip. I believe chafing wires and lines are seldom taken seriously enough. We had a control cable on U-2 get cut by arcing after it rubbed through the insulation. The cut was so clean some people were trying to claim sabotage until the bare wire was discovered and the cable was looked at through a magnifying glass. My wires are clamped tight, not zip tied, to the top right corner of the tunnel with easy access to inspect the switch.
