I've spent the past 6+ mo's repairing/reworking Bill Cordoza's N118BC ... I had originally planned to return it to it's formal multi color rainbow paint scheme ... after speaking to a few potential buyers the conscientious was that was not popular at all. I tried to replicate the original in shades of blue. We plan to take her up to Oshkosh but this airplane is going up for adoption ... I just wanted to make sure it was returned to the fleet in style ... poor thing was in need of some TLC.

Here's the end result ...

You do great work Lee. I’m sure somebody is going to be very happy with that bird. I’ve already mentioned it to one person looking for another Thorp.

Looks great - you have my curiosity though - what's with the right side of the canopy?...or is that some weird alcohol induced illusion on my part?

Frase,
That's just a shadow .. the side trim lips over the track .. but the Houston sun and the angle seem to exaggerate it .. the LH and RH sides are the same.

Lee, is that an AOA probe under the left wingtip? Can you post a picture of the panel?

Looks like a standard Piper balony slicer pitot and static probe to me.
