In March, I flew out to CA to pick up the airplane and trucked it back to Ohio. Cubes was a big help getting me some parts I needed to get the main gear on as well as a few other bits and pieces. I had a lot of work to do on the aft fuselage, but I think that's all behind me now (hehehe). I've been meaning to post some pictures for a while, and am finally getting around to it.

File comment: Found some cracks in the upper and lower flared flange. None went beyond the flange itself, but I'm betting they were caused by the lack of a bolster. I stopped drilled them and installed doublers.

File comment: Customized the bolster support. The stock part would not fit, and I wanted to distribute the load a little more evenly between the BHs.

Wow that was a lot of work. That part you designed looks really nice. I'm glad it's coming together.

Thanks! I've been getting lots of practice over the last 5 years working on a Midget Mustang Project.

Jim,

How is your project coming? Where are you in Ohio?
