Anybody ever converted a nose wheel T18 into a tail dragger T18? Any thoughts about that? There is a "project" nose wheel T18 on barnstormers for sale, and it got me to thinking about doing the conversion.

Cubes could answer this better than I. I would think changing the front caster gear leg out ,install conventional gear leg and if the fuselage has the mount hardware for the tailwheel you would be pretty far along. Cowl would require attention

seems like a neat project. If it was closer to me, I think I would splurge and bring it home. As it is, shipping would cost as much as the project.

it even looks like from the picture above that this airplane may have started out as a taildragger. If the thing wasn't all the way across the country from me, I would really like to tinker with this one.
