Having an N number means you have to pay property/luxury taxes !  At least in California . We have a way around here in the land of fruit and nuts in that the Thorp is considered an aircraft of historical significance (50 years old) . Display it 12 days a year and have someone sign off the attendance sheet . Anyone need their sheet signed off for 2014 ? I am good for at least 2 days . BTW...looking Muey Bueno Les ! RB

Hey guys! Here's a brand new Thorp. Our Tech Counselor in the chapter looked it over and was happy about it, so now it's just waiting for the official airworthiness inspection. Got 2100 rpm on a not so high speed taxi, but pretty exciting to be this far with it. At it for 22 years - Should I wait a while longer to beat RB, or go fly? Les Krumel, 1187 Albuquerque
