Just got a set of f911 bolts, nuts, washers for my Warnke prop from Saber in Grandberry, TX. I was wondering if anyone is using grade 8 or better prop bolts? I am interested in opinions about these stronger but more brittle bolts as this is my first experience with f911. Thanks Chuck R.

Is is possible to find aviation bolt to install this propeller?
I have to do some research about the F911 bolt. I'm curious!

All kind of propeller. I just try to understand what is the advantage to install commercial hardware versus aviation bolt. The price I think.....

The advantage may be that AN/prop bolts bolts are traceable . You know who made the bolt . Commercial bolts could come from anywhere , including Hop Sing from Bonanza ! ::)

I ordered a set of f911 bolts, nuts, etc for 66WT. I'll use them to install the Wood Aymar Demuth Prop I have for this Thorp. In reading on the Saber site the only part I'm not sure of is the big push to go for a larger flange on a prop extension. I don't have the benefit of an Engineering Degree, but it seems to me that most of the grip would be accomplished by the drive lugs in the extension and not the increased surface area of the flange. Anyways, I have 4" prop extension that will work just fine. They have for years...As far as the f911 bolts - I know guys that have been flying behind them for 15+ years with no issues. Order with Confidence!
