Ah thank you, i've been scouring Barnstormers and fleabay didn't think to check these guys, they don't have the best of reputations, but the price is right. I am still not sure if I can fit this to my mousemotor, I have been going thru my conversion manuals and can't find any reference. My conversion has rear cover part no 61344M on it. I assume the back end of the G4 is the same as 0-325 etc but would like to know for sure.

Dave,
If you have a spot for the adapter then it'll work. To be 100% sure pull the cover plate off the pad and peak in there you should see the drive gear peaking out of the lower left hand corner. I installed the B&C spline driven alternator on an 0-290G4 a couple of years ago, worked great. One warning though, they call it an alternator but it behaves like a generator, you need 1800+ rpm to create any significant charge.

I'm sure that I have a part similar to the pad you need except that it allows the mounting of 2 items rather than just one. If interested I can look up the p/n so you know exactly what I'm talking about and I need to put my hands on the pieces. It needs a good cleaning, new seals and close inspection. I'm sure that the seals would be available from a number of sources.

Hi Eddie Thank you,I have seen the double pad adaptors but I don't think that will really work for me, it seems like XS weight
