Does anyone have a prefered condition inspection checklist they would like to share or know of a specific newsletter where it may have one posted? I am trying to help my A&P as well as myself negotiate my first inspection on this new to me aircraft.

For the A&Ps perspective .. point him to a Cherokee 140 checklist, omit anything around the gear struts and move the nose gear to the tail. That's about as close as you'll get to a T-18 condition inspection.

I use the attached document for my condition inspection. Admittedly, it is made for a Vans RV aircraft. The link is to company who who publicly hands out this inspection checklist. The link below actually has some other good documents for download.

I feel like I've seen a Thorp inspection checklist in the old newsletters, but I don't know where it is off hand. There is a "points of lubrication" list for the Thorp in the old newsletters as well. Again, not sure exactly where that is either.

The attached doc is one I found some years ago, I have not verified it or used it. It's probably a good starting point, ymmv
