I recently purchased a partially built T-18. It came with both the T-18 nose ribs and the S-18 nose ribs. I was planning on using the S-18 nose ribs. I am not sure if the S-18 nose ribs will work with the T-18 wing skins, as two of the wing skins have been cut and drilled. The two nose ribs look very similar, but I am not sure if they are interchangeable? |

I would tend to think if the T18 skins have already been drilled using the T18 nose ribs, then they would not be usable with the the S-18 nose ribs. Admittedly, I have never tried this, so hopefully someone with firsthand knowledge will chime in soon. |

In my simple mind, the length of the skin from upper spar cap to lower spar cap around the nose rib will be longer with the S18 rib than the T18 because the S18 has a fatter profile. If the S18 ribs are not drilled, you can try it, but the skins may be too short in the back. Cubes |
