Hi all!

Can anyone tell me what the part number is for the brake disks that we use, and also if used ones can be turned down (and if so to what minimum thickness)?

Thanks so much!!

I dont know the part # off the top of my head, but I had the same question about my Cleveland's a few years ago. I looked at my brake caliper part #, and found the corresponding disc part # in the Cleveland brochure I found on the Internet. Turns out I have wheels/discs/brakes for a Cessna 150. Hope that helps.

Not a good idea to turn them. Chrome is better than stainless. Stock steel didn't hold up in my damp Florida climate.

I replaced mine with PN 164-17 from Spruce.
Just for everyone’s info, my disks wore down to .162 and they started allowing the puck to extend too far causing a brake leak. The new ones mic out at .186. If you replace the pads and disks at the same time, you will need to shim the inner pads. Otherwise the whole combination will be too thick to allow the wheel to turn properly.
As a side note, I turned some disks for a friend with a Lancair 4P. He loves the result. The new, out of the box, Clevelands he bought were about .007 off from being true. You can turn them. But it is not recommended. They are case hardened. That hardening is only about .015” thick.
