Hello All,
Was looking for insurance for my aircraft yesterday. After getting a quote I had to ask "Is that in dollars?!" Just south of $2,000.00! I have a commercial rating, instrument, 1300TT, 150 TW. 40K hull value. What are other owners paying and who are you using? I was paying $900.00 a year for a Pacer with a 30K hull value. So I was expecting $1,000 to $1,200
Thanks!

Hello,

That sound more like it....How much time you have in type? I put down 5 because I am going to get flight training in Las Vegas with Cubes prior to flying mine.

My renewal (August) was $1400 -- up from just under $1100 last year. $35k hull. Makes no sense 'cuz my recent TW experience when I bought the plane Aug-2019 was nil. Had not flown a TD for at least a decade. Plenty of TW hours (previously owned two other T-18s, a Christen Eagle, and an RV-4), but none anywhere near recent. This year's renewal I had 100-plus in the T-18 with zero incidents or claims of any kind. Still went up more than 30 percent.

My first year with a T-18 (2006) was 1900 and change - last year was 670 - this year (renewed in February) was 900. 30K hull, 2000 TT - 1200 TW. No incidences or violations (that they know of).....
