It just occurred to me that if I use .020 for the skins, and .050 for the strip, I get the same dimension as the aileron T.E. I did not realize what a genius I am!

It wasn't early, it was 9:30 PM local (west coast).

The flaps are spring loaded up so they could potentially flutter given the right conditions (not enough spring tension for one). Any movable surface has the potential to flutter.

.020 skins are fine. .016 is still available but extremely hard to work with. Please use the correct trailing edge strip size.

Thanks for the advice. I will go to the airport and cut two .040 T.E. strips today.
