Studying the plans prior to commencing and have a few questions.
1. The plan for the centre wing main beam specifies a 2x2x0.25 extr chnl for the cap on the spar.
The end view looks as if it is a 1x2x1x0.25 chnl
2. It appears that from bl21 to bl35 the vertical leg not riveted is angle cut to the horizontal leg and then straight to bl41.375 so that the outer part of the cap is effectively angle.

Am I reading the plan correctly?

Yes, the spar is tapered.
