Haven't seen this before .. actually looks pretty good .. just proof that a wheel on the tail makes everything look good ..

See if you can guess what this is (Hint ... not a Mustang II).

I think Dick got it, the clue is the file name of the photo. Looked it up on Barnstormers and these aircraft are lower priced than the Thorps, who knew. I looks like they are using the Thorp canopy.

Two planes in one: tube fuselage with sheet metal covering. Used GB canopy back in the day.

didn't that small vertical stabilizer give them a poor reputation for spin recovery?? It looks very sharp I must say.

In 2013, 3 friends and I flew our airplanes to the 4-Corners area, visiting Monument Valley and then on to Lake Powell for the night. That Sidewinder was built and flown by a very good friend of mine, and he died in it the next year when the wing spar failed during what was probably an abrupt maneuver to avoid large birds.

Looks like three ducks with their heads down (nose wheel RV's) and a swan elegantly sitting pretty!
