My good friend and builder of 3 T-18 aircraft has been diagnosed with some very serious medical issues . I have stepped in to help the family sell his latest T-18 , N2056 an all metal highly polished beauty ! The AC had been listed previously , but due to some FAA paperwork voodoo it required my expertise to resolve what should have been a fairly simple common sense solution . A flyer with all the info. should be posted on the forum Aircraft for Sale classified section shortly .

If you ever met John you know he a people person and loves to tell stories . His knowledge of metal working and machine parts is second to none . If you care to send John well wishes and if you have a funny aviation picture with a T-18 in it I am sure it would go a long way to lift his spirits . Please respond to his wife Jean Kerr at...or send to me and I'll relay to the family .

I doubt you will find a Thorp with more balanced flight controls than this AC .

I first saw John's Thorp at a Porterville fly-in, beautiful aircraft, definitely needed the sun glasses to look at it.

John, wishing you a speedy recovery and the doctors the knowledge to treat the cause.

I know there are a lot of us who wish John the best. Saying a prayer and sending many healing thoughts and good wishes his way. He's a great guy, and I really enjoyed his company at Porterville. Wish him and his family the very best for me, Rich. You're a good friend!

John K,

Hang tough my friend. It was great seeing you at the California Gathering last year. As always - you met us with a smile, lots of great stories followed by lots of laughter. Caught a good pic of what I titled, "The Master Fabricators", because you and the others all had your hands in getting several T-18s into the air. For those who haven't had the good fortune to meet John, he's on the far left. Prayers coming your way.

Tailwinds,
Tony Ginn
