I recently joined the forum and learned a great deal by reading through the archived information and newsletters. Thanks for making that knowledge base available! A couple months ago I purchased Jeff Blanton's T-18. As some of you may know, Jeff and his dad did a great job putting their Thorp together. I had a lot of fun flying it home (KPAE) from Kansas back in February, and learned she will do exactly what you ask of her. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Mr. Thorp for designing such a simple machine that's truly a joy to fly.

Should anyone be out in the Seattle area please let me know. I'd really like to meet up with some other Thorp enthusiasts.

Thanks,

Marshall

Paul McMichaels keeps his at Tacoma Narrow (TIW) there's one at Renton but not on the list and several in the Olympia area. Look forward to meeting you.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

Bruce & Mark, I'll keep an eye out for you guys. You both have great looking planes! Maybe we can meet up at Friday Harbor or Orcas Island one of these days?

Fraser, I can't make the Salt Lake fly-inn as my wife and I are running a marathon in Seattle on the 20th.

Dan, Visalia in September sounds like fun. I'll keep an eye on the events section.

Looking forward to meeting you all,

Marshall
