The hat order has gone to the embroiderer. I am waiting for the proof from the graphic designer for final approval. Unfortunately, I will miss the VIS deadline. Who knew that hat people were like homebuilders -- "It will be finished when it is done!"

With the help of Bill Williams, whose taste is similar to mine (see cover shot on newsletter), we have selected the isometric view logo like John Evens' most recent offering.

I have kept track of the requests and will formalize the order process when I get the final bill.

The first batch of hats is here! They are available in Stone (tan), Navy (Brazell), and White (Snow). Cost will be $20US including shipping. Please Email me your order and include your Name, Address, Phone and Email. Please include a color choice and a backup color in case I run out of your primary selection. I will advise you when I ship yours via USPS and you can then remit $20 per hat by check (cheque) in US funds to:

Hi Bob,

I will take two hats. One white, One Stone. Alternate Two White or Two Stone. Also don't want to duplicate order from previous posts.

Any chance you can bring them to Kentucky or will you need the baggage space?

I think Bob plans on bring them to KD, if he can't haul them I'll leave one Model A engine and bring them in my plane.

The previous diatribe was to see what the interest was. I asked for a direct email so I could keep you posted and get your address and phone number. Please do not use this forum for ordering. Email me direct. I will be bringing extra hats to Ky Dam. I also ordered a second batch yesterday. I will send an email out directly today or tomorrow on those confirmed orders.

All of the firm order hats are in the mail except one pending color selection. Each of you should have received an email announcing the mailing. The following have elected to have theirs delivered at Ky Dam:

Anyone who wants a hat and has not received a shipping confirmation or is not on the above list, please send me a direct email at N711SH@aol.com with your request. Please include your color choice (stone, Blue, or white) I am out of stone right now, but have an additional order in that should be here before Ky Dam. Also make sure you give me your address and phone number so I can get your choice to the right place.

Due to an ordering malfunction, I have two large premium hats (stone) that fit size 7 1/2 and greater. If you have a large cabeza and would like a great hat, let me lnow. They will be shipped in a plane brown wrapper should you feel the need.

I have a few hats left. Sorry, I'm out of the stone color. If you want one, send me an email with your mailing address, email, and telephone number and prefered color (Navy or White). Check the picture in my album. They are $20 US including some gentle handling and shipping.

Right now, I'm out of hats. I may reorder if there is sufficient interest. It takes about twenty hats to make it worth the effort.
