In order to start another lively thread, I am in a position to get some hats made with a Thorp logo(?). Please send me some ideas so I can get them priced. All this is with John Evens' blessing. I would like to wrap up the ensuing bruhaha to get them out by Kentucky Dam and perhaps VIS. Let the fun begin!

I really like John's design and appreciate the cool max band every time I wear it. Mine also is getting a little ratty so I would take two. Prefer a gray or stone color.

A pocket also and a clip for my charts ! If it's not too much trouble a set of ear flaps for our San Diego winters !

I second Matt's ideas - as well....any way to get them without a button mid noggin? Order one with a prop-top for RB

All kidding aside, I appreciate Bob taking on procuring our hats. From personal experience I know it is a chore to find a supplier, take the orders, collect the Washington's and then ship an order. I will gladly take a hat with a button on top ! [:D]

I will take one hat, no pocket required.

Count me in for one hat.

I will be happy with whatever you produce, but if you are tracking preferences, here are mine:
- dark in colour... grey or stone sounds good or even black or dark green
- all one colour except logo. (eg no two-tone white brim with black cap, for example)
- given a choice, medium for my tiny noggin.
- if one-size-fits-all only, must be adjustable to a freakishly small head

Thx!
Dick

Here is what I've been able to put together so far:

Hat type Richardson style 385 (Google it)

Colors can be Stone, Navy(just for RB), or White.

Cost About $15; ear flaps for RB and pockets extra.

Don't know about shipping cost yet.

Logo #1

Logo #2

#2 would be like the current Evens design in silver. Would have "Thorp T-18" under it.

Let's vote on the logo.
