My 17 year old daughter and I spent 6.7 hours in our T-18 this past 3 days. We flew to Lost Wages Wednesday evening (2.0 hrs)and stayed with Cubes and his lovely wife, Mary Kay - Cubes and I flew in a 9 ship (7 of those udder planes and we two T-18s) over the Boulder City 4th of July parade - three passes in different formations. Feet wet over Lake Mead was an easy rendezvous and join up. Feet dry and over the target was challenging along with oil temps demanding our attention at about 103 ambient. An evening of BBQ, spirits and fireworks with the formation pilots and families ended a great day. Off to SoCal (1.4 hours - with a mighty headwind) and a day with other T-18ers giving my daughter and I a first class tour of Aerospace facilities in the area on which my daughter may be interested in setting her career sites - returned this morning (3.3 hrs) to SLC and had Whiskey Mike tucked in the hangar by 2PM.

T-18s are more than just airplanes.
