N633PM was last flown on January 1 of this year. Yesterday, May 24, 633PM emerged from the hangar for the first time as N926WM, sporting a complete brake overhaul, a new carb, gascolator, new linkage brackets, rebuilt mags, a fresh conditional and some new acrylic urethane paint. She flew twice yesterday and once this morning - all systems check, with only a couple of minor issues to tweak (idle mixture and canopy seal). This completes phase two of the makeover. Next year is the interior, including panel and re-wiring. Meantime, it's time to do some flying. There were a few other things I wanted to do during this phase, but just flat ran out of time.....?????........and my wife's money.......

Youneek, huh?.....I "wonder"....:)...still no where near complete, yet another step to keeping it alive and kicking. I learned today there is a reason for short hop local test flights after extensive work.....The oil temp sensor got loose and sullied the engine compartment and her bottom with about two quarts of oil - I'm damn lucky there was no fire. Not like me to miss something as simple as that, but it happens I guess.

Lesson learned.
