I have heard the stories of one week of osh kosh and one T18 built. Thought it might be time to resurrect this feat with Bill and Lee. But with a twist...this time we take our two most prolific builders and have a face off. Two men, two projects, one week of osh kosh. Certainly a worthy challenge of even these two experienced builders. We can provide the materials, the bucking, the Red Bull, and the beer and have a raffle to raise money...better yet just take side bets. If orange county choppers can be a hit, I think that Wisconsin Lee and Florida Bill should face off in a dueling T18 showdown for Osh Kosh 2011. One man raised with Thorp in his blood, fed on Wisconsin Bratwurst and hungry for victory from hours of tedious boring computer programming. Another man with wisdom of the ages, oxy acetaline in his veins, fingers dead from decades of grilling bare handed, yearning to put the young buck in his place.....the tension builds....tempers flare.....and the face off begins. Place your bets...be it Lima Whiskey or Whiskey Whiskey...either way a Whiskey wins it.

I'd do it just for the free beer but I can tell you all, I wouldn't be able to find my right arm without Bills help most of the time. That would truly be a battle of apprentice vs master!

I'd be up for competing if there is a prize for the slowest - another two weeks, and 633PM's new baffling/oil cooler and oil filter setup should be complete - then on to the baggage compartment, so I can take two pair of underwear to OSH - forwards, backwards and inside out per Tony Cochran.

Just in case you really cant find your right arm, I am pretty sure Bill has a better way to do it...he and Bob always have a way of coming up with a fix easier than anything others have come up with. My guess is it might go something like this....Well Lee you just find your head and proceede aft from there...when you get to your neck find the wiring harness that goes to the arm and follow it down...easy..there is your arm. My guess is Bob's recommendation might be something like this......next time you are taking a leak...start at your penis and work your way back and presto there is your right arm. Two resonable solutions from a slightly different perspective.

I'm staying out of this dog fight. It does not hurt to have form blocks and old pieces to use as templates. A 52" shear and 60" box brake comes in handy too. I would pace myself, but I promised Bob I'd make Elizabeth City. Paint also is in the fray, 6 weeks to get it painted.

Fraser,
Don't forget a day of "commando" on each end. That's the Army way...
