I just read "Charlie Mike Charlie" and I was wondering, where in the world is CMC now? Anybody know its location? As a side note, the copy I have is signed by the author and Kay Thorp. I thought that was interesting when I opened the cover.

According to an Aussie that stopped by my plane here at OSH, VH-CMC went to a museum for a while but the museum folded and CMC was sold off. He suspects it is out there with a new registration.

Clive Canning is one brave man. Being put in jail, MIGs bearing down on him, that's crazy stuff for a civilian flight Then, after all that, he flew back home to Australia from the UK. Is he still alive?

I met Clive after his trip from Melbourne to the UK and the air to air pictures in the book were taken from my Super Cub by Gordon Bain.
Clive is not with us any more but my Melbourne Chipmunk friend told me that the airplane is still in the area. I will ask him if the registration has been changed.
