Now that the BLACK MAMBA is painted white it has to be at least 20 degrees cooler in the main office ! ::)

The "formerly T-18 Known as "Black Mamba" is definitely cooler to fly now. I had it out yesterday (92 degrees) and it felt great. The skin stayed cool the entire time. Although, now I can no longer fry me up some fresh bacon & eggs on the wing anymore. I guess I'll have to keep a bag lunch with me for the longer trips. It is all about give and take.

Dean worked hard on this Bird, all you have to do is point Dean in the right direction, and then get out of the way, he built this rig in 19 months, and then shortly there after he painted it. Cudos to Dean, I flew this bird and it is nimble, now it's nimble and perty. I just showed Dean how to operate the paint gun, then I got out of the way and had Ice Tea. Your right Bob, it's a California Hot Rod, I think Dean just got a new call sign........Fits him perty Good......Dan
