This is Veterans day, just a big Thankyou to all that fought the good fight for all of us here in our Homeland, consider this a handshake of appreciation. For those Families that have lost loved ones on the Battlefield, our thoughts and prayers are with you on this day. I am Proud of our Vets, always have been and always will be. Lets have a big OOOOOORH!! for our Veterans!!! Dan

Thx. You know, I am so much a richer man for having served with the finest. On days like today, I always think of my friends who did not come home. It seems especially sad that they died on foreign soil. I think of the families that were left behind. I hope and pray that they can move on, as their loved one would have wanted.

To put Veterans day in prospective the last 4 Doolittle Raiders had the final "Toast." The fourth Gentleman was too Ill to travel . The 3 of the four had that sip of the Doolittle Brandy as a final toast . If you have not seen the Carrier Deck launch of the B-25's in terrible weather it is a must see ! It is amazing that some of the crews made it feet dry !

My Father-in-Law was a Priest M-7 tank driver in Germany and he told me stories of "sleeping on cold iron ! " Imagine driving a tank in Germany in the Winter ! The Priest M-7 had a 105 howester main gun along with a 50 cal machine gun . Thank you SGT. Gene Acossano !
