I attended the fort worth airshow with my grandson yesterday. The weather was perfect and there was lots to see, sadly there were no thorps... just a long ez and some cirrus home builts.
I was priveleged enough to get the opportunity to sit in the copilot - gunner seat of a russian hind helicopter.
this has been a dream since the 80's when we all saw those cold war movies.

While not a thorp i like this t-6 which looks vaguely like a thorp if you squint and turn your head sideways. I do like the paint job and made me go hmmmmm....
