Hey! All you Veterans out there in The World of Thorp, God bless all of you for your efforts keeping us safe,standing Guard,sacrificing and making our home the land of the free. Just want to say IM proud of all of ya, we all owe you a great debt of Gratitude for being there for us, we are all free because our freedom was bought with Veteran sacrifice, it wasn't just given to us. it is an Honor to have you all amongst us............Regards. Thanks Dan, simply put. it's been my privilege.

On one particularly dark night over Iraq back in 2003' while patrolling for SCUD missile sites in an F-16 C+ my wing-man made a profound comment over discreet VHF, "Smokey, we're the tip of the sword tonight, what an honor!"

We lost him three years later(six years ago today) in an accident. Every Vets day I remember him and many others who made the supreme sacrifice.

A privilege indeed.

Bob "Nasty" Mills says hi. He just recertified my FFI flight lead card today and is sitting in my living room right now. We are flying out to KIYK tomorrow.
