Hello to everyone out there in Thorp land. I am new to this forem and have already learned a great deal from reading your posts. My project is still on the trailer in my garage. Not sure yet but it appears that I may have enough parts to build more than one aircraft. The workmanship appears to be very good to my newbie eyes. I will be using a 0-290G engine as I think I have enough parts to build 3 or 4 of them. My plan is to build light and simple. I am located in Fresno Ca. and hope to hear from other builders or owners of Thorps in the area so I can pick your experiance but will try not to be a pest. I have been wanting build for years and now it looks like its time to dust off the rivet gun.

Best wishes to all
Phil Cantrell

Welcome Phill!
I'm a newbie too. I just got a T-18 in April. I have about 12 landings in it.
WHAT a Kick!

Dan
I am currently flying out of my garage. My project is far from flyable but as soon as I get an inventory of what I have and what I need I'll be building. I am looking forward to meeting you and David. Let me know if you guys meet on some sort of schedule.
Thanks for your response.
Phil

Sept 15-16 is also the same date as the Reno Air Races. That is where I will likely be.

Yep, races on the 15th 16th, we will be making a formal announcement before too much longer to try to give folks a heads up. We will have to see what is going on on the other weekends but we will without a doubt schedule it when some will have other obligations and thats ok and very understandable....Dan
