Lee: The new TAC logo is a good start...for a math major ! Just kidding ! Great idea. Maybe a side view of the Thorp like on the hat to keep the same theme going ? What do I know, I was a Liberal Arts Major ! [:p] Let's keep the ideas coming and the winner gets 2 nites at Frasers place !

Well that's certainly up for discussion but the reason I went with the top view was for symmetry, that and a side view on the emblem would end up being too small (unless it was heading up which just doesnt seem right)

The hat logo with the emblem and the side view has been around for a while, I was hoping on something new.

For all you non-newsletter subscribers this is what we are talking about.

Think "vansairforce" then think "thorpaircommand"

(thanks Duke!)

Lou,

For the discussion on hats, go to the miscellaneous topic and go to the hat thread. I have some hats left. Blue or white? They are $20 including shipping.

Send an email to: n711sh@aol.com

State you name, address, color preference and phone number.

I'll get one in the mail to you with an invoice included.

Only a few blocks from R66, but I am across the street from San Bernadino air port (SBD). About a three minute drive to my hanger!

We have hats now who is going to do a Thorpaircommand Decal?? Would be kinda nice to have a decal for the air command wouldn't it?? Put it on the fin or the deck under the canopy, Have about 4 different colors so everyone could have one that would somewhat follow their paint scheme. Everyone's thoughts please, there is another airforce out there in the ,Vans community should we have a decal that looks sharp to identify the Thorpaircommand???? Am I off base here of suffering from Terra Firma fever or is this somewhat of an Idea??? Dan
