I haven't followed all the posts on this topic, so maybe this repeats info previously posted numerous times. I noted some time back the posting on the plane Lyle had sold. Yesterday I had my BFR with an instructor from Tehachapi and he said the plane was on auto-pilot and he had been with flight following. As he was approaching the Tehachapi area he was with Bakersfield approach. They noticed he was flying too low to clear the terrain and tried numerous times to alert him but got no response. There is speculation he fell asleep. Maybe someone else knows of autopsy results which might shed further light. Hal Underwood N631HU Lancaster, CA
