Thanks Dan : I would like to pass what I saw Thursday driving home from the airport . As I approached a well traveled intersection in El Cajon , CA I could see one side of the intersection lined with what appeared to be at least a hundred school age kids . As I got closer to the intersection I could see them holding and waving small American flags and a lot of them hold signs saying thank you Veterans ! They were yelling and screaming and asking folks to honk their horns . It was almost impossible to hear anything from all the car/truck horns honking and blasting . It was a very moving moment . Where were the TV stations to report something good ?

Probably in the alley trash can trying to figure a way to shed a negative light on the little Americans proud of our Troops, typical media. I got to see the Vetrans day Parade that ran right by our office on Friday, it was spectacular!!!! Dan

Took my 1928 NASH roadster to the Lakeland Verterans Parade Saturday. Had the honor of having two passengers. One was 91 WWII Vet in the rumble seat and the other 68 Vietnam Vet. The WWII vet was a WAAC.
