Located the sender with the boroscope while I've got the Altimeter out for cal check for RAD 43/47. You blokes were pretty well spot on. The sender has spade connections so I hit it with contact cleaning solvent and used a pair of longnose pliers with extension tubes on the handles to firm and consolidate the connectors. All's good so far. I'll see how it goes before I start cutting holes. Went thru my Drawings and I go from 791 to 794, can't locate 792. Got to get my drawings organised and in numerical order. I'm missing a few but that's to be expected for the age of the aeroplane. I've toppedthe tank up so tomorrow I'll go for a run down to Bundaberg and back to see how the gauge goes. Any excuse !!!!

Thanks
Good onya

I suspect besides a few loose connections there may have been a little corrosion on the terminals. A dap of die electric grease might help. ;)
