T-18 FALL GATHERING KENTUCKY DAM VILLAGE STATE RESORT PARK The dates for the 2025 T-18 Weekend at Kentucky Dam are Oct 10, 11, and 12. Let's make this one of the most well attended and fun gatherings of Thorp aircraft enthusiasts in recent memory. We are working out the agenda now and would love your feedback of what you would like to see at YOUR gathering. Lunch cookouts on the airfield, breakfast at the resort, and dinner at Patti's 1880's Settlement! A spot landing contest with prizes. Great comradery as aways, and more! Contact the resort for more information. Camping is allowed at the airfield. Kentucky Dam State Park Airport (M34) is 30 miles east of the Cunningham VOR (Paducah) on the 90-degree radial, 8 miles South of V178. The runway is paved and 4000 feet long. The airport is approximately a mile from the resort, and transportation is available both to and from the airport for those who do not wish to walk. Please bring your own tie downs (or at least rope!!!). Fuel is available on the field. Is the camping at the airfield just for the folks that fly in or can small van type RV's camp on the field too? Steve H |

I wouldn’t see why you couldn’t stay in the parking lot at the airport. There is also a state owned campground about a mile northeast although I have never been there |
