I just got off the phone with the front desk at Kentucky Dam Village. I booked my room for this year's event. As in the past, ask for the Paine Party to get group rates. Let's see if we can make up for a lost year and turn out in force. As this is a holiday weekend, rooms could fill up fast. Hope to see you there.

I stopped in at KY dam last weekend, they have the fuel tanks in place. 100LL was $4.60. The building is completely remodeled, it looks nice. I have been told we will need to wear masks while not eating at Patties Friday evening. You cannot eat in the restaurant at the lodge, carry out only. Fortunately there is a Cracker Barrel nearby and we should have enough cars to shuttle everyone back and forth. I have not seen anything that says there is a fish fry at Murray this year, have you heard anything Bob?

Besides the Cracker Barrel there was another restaurant we ate at in the past up by the interstate, I believe it was some kind of BBQ type restaurant.

No news on the fish fry. I'll try to find out.

Unfortunately, Mary and I have to cancel our Ky Dam trip due to the death of a very close friend. We were really looking forward to seeing everyone and enjoying our annual weekdend together. Next year for certain. Y'all have fun.

I sat out on the front porch this morning at my brother’s house in Dayton complaining to my wife that we were supposed to be drinking coffee looking at the lake. Unfortunately we had to cancel to attend the funeral of my 97 yo grandmother. It is certainly a celebration of her life, and not something I would consider missing. We’re looking forward to next year. Have fun!
