The Mayor of Sedona has issued an emergency order pretty much shutting down the town of Sedona! That includes restaurants, hotels, bars and all the other usual suspects. Based upon this action and no real time frame when the COVID-19 will pass, I have made the Command decision to resked the Sedona Fly In to September 18, 19 and 20. This weekend is the only weekend open at the Sky Ranch Lodge. Once I get a call back from the airport manage at Sedona confirming our new dates I will reblock the rooms for Sept. with the Lodge. Sil has been in contact with the Lodge and they are more than willing to work with us on securing the Sept. weekend along with a block of 12 rooms. Same room rates!
Although I am told that all hotels/resorts in Sedona are in the process of closing down, Sky Ranch Lodge has stated that are open for now but do not know when that will change. If you are planning to fly into Sedona prior to the 3rd , 4th or 5th of April and/or on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, the Lodge said they will still honor your reservation and room rate, if you have one. IF YOU WILL NOT FLY INTO SEDONA ON THE 3RD, 4TH AND 5TH OF APRIL YOU NEED TO CALL THE LODGE AND CNX YOUR INDIVIDUAL RESERVATION AND HAVE A CREDIT CARD NUMBER TO GIVE THEM THAT YOU WANT YOUR DEPOSIT REFUNDED TO. I will post all the new info. on the rescheduled Fly In as soon as I finalize the details . No good deed goes unpunished ! If you have questions call me or email me . RB out .

Thanks for the info Rich. Even though I was planning on driving to Sedona to meet the Thorp Community, Sept will work better for me since I just had a hip replacement 3 weeks ago. Damn bones are getting old.

Thanks for this update Rich.

I had been looking forward to this event - but it's joining so many of my other events in the cancelled pile. I'm hoping to join you guys in September.

In evaluating “what could have been”, the weather looks great all week in Sedona. 41 degrees and calm winds this am. Forecast looks the same all week. For me, I would have departed yesterday to arrive today and spend all week in SEZ. Ah, September is just around the corner!
