If you need Some Cherry Max Rivets, go to E-Bay. [:D] There is a site that lists 1000 for $109.99 + shipping. I have bought from this guy before (Dean Sharp, when it was $99.00), in fact another order today in case I decide to build another Thorp....900 04-02, 100 04-03. They are the 3222 04-02/03/04 Counter Sunk Cherry max rivets. Same as the 3212 04 that Spruce sells, but they have a stainless steel stem. He also has bulb head for the same price. That works out to about $11.00/100 compared to Spruce at $55.00/100. [:0] Shipping for my zip was $28.00. They come from North of the border, so it must be a Customs/tax/fee thing to = the $28.00. The guy is very easy to work with. You do not need to buy the rivets the way they are listed on E-Bay, just tell him what you want...more of this, less of that, etc. [;)] He did mention a discount for larger quantities. If you have never used CM rivets before a named brand "Pneumatic Cherry Max Riveter" is not required. The HF units for about $40-50 will work just fine. No need to spend hundreds for the name brand pneumatic puller. You can also pull them with the Mark 1 Mod 1 standard squeeze hand riveter. RB NX115RX |
